Envy a bird, please read ;)

Look up in the sky

and you will find life passing by

enjoying the sun

feeling the air

dancing in the wind

with perfect flair.

That is what birds do…yeah!

So I was watching birds in the sky and thinking, and thought of their carefree life; ponder on this thought for a while and came up with factual reason to not to feel envy of bird. Here is it for you to read and not feel envy.

One of the most popular symbols of freedom is a flying bird.

In fact,

see a bird soaring into the vast blue sky singing joyfully,

you feel that it has not a care in the world.

You think that

it can go wherever it pleases,

whenever it pleases

and do whatever it wants.

But,

the fact is

a bird is not as free as it seems.

Like all animals, it has a territory of its own, within which it flies.

Even birds that migrate to distant lands follow a certain fixed route and schedule, and they can’t just wander around as long as they want, but must return home at a specific time or season.

Birds

also have to defend their territories from intruders,

and their young ones from attackers.

Even,

their song is not just an expression of joy,

they sing for very serious reason guys – to attract a mate! (Yeah, it’s pretty serious, think about your future generation, or about having family and kids or the best one… we all need one to share our life with, love someone)

So you see,

there is no need to envy a bird – it has responsibilities,

and has to follow certain rules just as you do.  🙂

P.S. The featured image is a picture of birds taken by me in Lodhi Garden, Delhi. So if you are no longer feel envy, tell me the number of birds you see in the picture, and if still a teeny weeny jealousy is there, well……just look at the picture.

Love the birds. I’d rather not join them, (though I do envy somebody who can fly without a ticket). Worms and bugs are just not for me

Thanks for the appreciation. I am glad you took the pain to count the birds, and yes there is one squirrel too. Regarding your answer, you are somewhere close. There are 8 birds sitting/perching on the tree 🙂
