Rain

Below is a prose I stumped on recently when going through my years old journal.

I went to a trek in 2013, in Cloud End, Mussoorie (Uttarakhand) on a pleasant day in summer when soft drizzle welcomes us and kept company for most of the way. The picture on the left (and below) is the photograph I clicked then, after trying multiple angles just to capture the essence of my feelings then.

Below is a section I wrote on the trek in my journal. Hope you guys like it. 🙂

Water droplets on spider’s web Location: Cloud End, Mussoorie

Cool drops of water

falling from high,

abjuring every object

resting under by;

Building abode of

refreshed feelings,

and thoughts in my mind;

An abstruse reality

yet a reverie;

This dazzling play of nature

upending the structure of mind;

confusing with different

thoughts of content

all at one time.
